These terms apply to your use of the SitBook Android application, published by PocketForge Studio. By using SitBook, you agree to use the app lawfully and responsibly.

What SitBook is for

SitBook is an information-management tool for keeping client, pet, household, emergency, access and visit information organised for pet-care activities.

Your responsibility for information

You are responsible for the information you enter into SitBook, for keeping it accurate, and for ensuring that you have an appropriate reason and any necessary permission to store information about clients, household members, pets and contacts.

Sensitive access information

SitBook includes features for storing sensitive household access information. You should use these features carefully, keep your device protected and avoid storing information you do not need. Security features reduce risk but cannot guarantee that information can never be accessed by an unauthorised person.

Not professional advice

SitBook is an organisational tool. Information stored or displayed in the app is not veterinary, medical, legal, financial, emergency or other professional advice. In an emergency, contact the appropriate veterinary, emergency or other professional service.

Availability and changes

SitBook may be updated, changed or discontinued. Features may change as the app develops. We do not promise that the app will always be available without interruption or error.

Your device and backups

You are responsible for maintaining appropriate device security and backups where needed. Removing the app, clearing its data, losing a device or changing devices may result in loss of locally stored information unless a suitable backup is available.

Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, PocketForge Studio is not responsible for losses caused by inaccurate information entered into the app, failure to maintain suitable backups, misuse of stored information, device loss, or circumstances outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
